SIDNEY — John and Mary Jane Valentine, of Sidney, will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Oct. 17, 2020.
John and the former Mary Jane Miller were married on a warm, fall day on Oct. 17, 1970, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney. The Rev. Vincent Roberts officiated the ceremony.
They are the parents of Johnathan Valentine, of Sidney, Mark Valentine, of Sidney, Karen Sanford, of Anna, and Tina Valentine, of Sidney. They have seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
John is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Valentine.
Mary is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Miller.
They are members of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
