SIDNEY — Sandra and Robert Smedley, of Sidney, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary, Aug. 6, 2016, at a dinner hosted by their family and with a card shower.

Robert and the former Sandra Courter were married Aug. 5, 1956, in the Hardin United Methodist Church.
Robert has two sisters, Mary Henson, of Sidney, and Wilma Smedley, of California.
Sandra has a brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Diane Courter, of Sidney.
The Smedleys have a daughter and son-in-law, Luann and Mark Pellman, of Sidney. A son, Larry Smedley, is deceased. They have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
