SIDNEY — Vera Piper will celebrated her 95th birthday on Dec. 14.

Vera has resided at Ohio Living Dorothy Love for the past four years.

Vera is the daughter of the late Oscar and Lillie Dowden, and has one sister remaining, Clarice Pence.

She was married to Warren Yinger until he passed away in 1964 due to an accident; they lived on a farm south of Sidney.

She has two children, Diane Courter and Larry Yinger. She has five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Vera is an active member of Sidney First United Methodist Church. She has also been very active as a volunteer in Sidney for many years, and has continued since moving to Ohio Living Dorothy Love.

She enjoys living at Ohio Living Dorothy Love and encourages anyone looking for a good retirement home to consider Ohio Living Dorothy Love.
