SIDNEY — Danielle Gates and Neill Allen, of Sidney, have announced the birth of a son, Alden James Allen, born May 21, 2015, at 5:44 p.m. in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Memorial Hospital.

He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brother, Sebastian Allen, 10.

His maternal grandparents are Jim and Lori Crawford, of Brookville, Pennsylvania. His paternal grandparents are Jon and Anna Allen, of Sidney.

His mother is originally from Sidney.
