SIDNEY — Amanda and Major Redmon, of Sidney, have announced the birth of a son, Gavin Lee Redmon, born June 17, 2016, at 5:22 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health.

He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his sisters, Lila, 6, and Carman, 3.

His maternal grandparents are Regina and Thomas Luthman, of Sidney. His paternal grandparents are Cynthia Redmon, of Sidney, and Vincent Burns, of Springfield.

His great-grandfather is Welburn Hamilton, of Sidney.

His mother is the former Amanda Luthman, of Sidney.
