MINSTER — Joyce and Tom Homan, of Minster, have announced the birth of a son, Carter James Homan, born Sept. 27, 2016, at noon, in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

He weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brother, Tyler, 5, and his sister, Olivia, 3.

His maternal grandparents are Donna and Jim DeMange, of Versailles. His paternal grandparents are Diane and Mark Homan, of Maria Stein.

His great-grandmother is Lillian Homan, of New Bremen.

His mother is the former Joyce DeMange, of Versailles.
