MARIA STEIN — Erin and Mitchell Schwieterman, of Maria Stein, have announced the birth of a son, Jace Douglas Schwieterman, born Jan. 21, 2017, at 7:07 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center in Sidney.

He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 21 1/4 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Sandy Gehret, of Fort Loramie, and the late Douglas Gehret. His paternal grandparents are Brenda and Brad Schwieterman, of Chickasaw.

His mother is the former Erin Gehret, of Fort Loramie.
