ANNA — Rebecca and Benjamin Berning, of Anna, have announced the birth of a daughter, Katherine Elizabeth, born Nov. 30, 2017, at 1 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

She weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her brothers, Caleb, 8, and Jacob, 6, and her sister, Margaret, 2.

Her maternal grandparents are Elizabeth and Carl York, of Russia. Her paternal grandparents are Karen and Lester Berning, of Sidney.

Her mother is the former Rebecca York, of Russia.
