VERSAILLES — Katerri Schmitmeyer, of Versailles, and Douglas Meyer, of Houston, have announced their engagement and plans to marry in May.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Doug and Brenda Schmitmeyer, of Versailles. She graduated from Versailles High School in 2015. She earned an associate degree in ag. business in 2016 from Wright State University Lake Campus and is currently employed as an office assistant at Sunrise Co-op, in Osgood.

Her fiancé is the son of Stephen and Roxanna Meyer, of Houston. He is a graduate of Hardin-Houston High School’s class of 2011 and earned an associate degree in mobile powered equipment in 2013 from Edison State Community College. He is currently employed as an ag. technician at North Star Hardware and Implement Co., in North Star.
