MINSTER — Heather Schmiesing, of Minster, and Alec Frideger, of New Bremen, have announced their engagement and plans to marry Jan. 7, 2017, in the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kay and Tim Schmiesing, of Minster. She graduated from Minster High School in 2012 and is enrolled in the Ohio State University College of Optometry, studying for a Doctor of Optometry.
Her fiance is the son of Beverly and Todd Frideger, of New Bremen. He is a 2012 graduate of New Bremen High School and a 2016 graduate of Wright State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. He is employed by Community Tissue Services in Kettering as a process improvement specialist.
