Couple set June date

DALLAS, Texas — Natalie Ann Meyer and Carlos de la Garza, both of Dallas, Texas, have announced their engagement and plans to marry, June 17, 2017, in the Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Minster.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ann and Ken Meyer, of Minster. She graduated from Minster High School in 2001 and from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, in 2005, with a Bachelor of Science in interior design and a minor in marketing. She is employed by Jonathan Louis Furniture as a sales representative, covering the states of Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.

Her fiance is the son of Socorro and Ernesto de la Garza, of McAllen, Texas. He is a 2000 graduate of Rio Grande City High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He is employed by Uplift Education as operations director.
