THURSDAY

-11:26 p.m.: drug abuse. Matthew Martin, 22, 223 Robb St., Apt. B, Jackson Center, was arrested for drug abuse when marijuana was seized from his vehicle during a traffic stop.

-7:27 p.m.: theft. Joseph Wilbur, 67, 129 1/2 S. Ohio Ave., reported the theft of a dark blue Ford Ranger, 32-inch flatscreen TV, computer with monitor, notebook tablet, $5,000, an acoustic guitar valued at $250, a dark blue bass guitar valued at $250, an electric guitar, a clock, a picture of a waterfall valued at $50 and a trash bag of prescription drugs from the residence of Mary Wolfe, 86, 612 Sixth Ave.

-6:18 p.m.: driving while under the influence. David Olshawsky, 61, 418 S. Miami Ave., was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol.

-3:18 p.m.: criminal damaging. Werters L. Hoy Jr., 79, 621 Fourth Ave., reported his fence had been damaged.

-9:27 a.m.: prohibited standing. Angela Earls, 27, 305 1/2 S. Main Ave., was arrested on prohibited standing at her residence when she was served a summons.

-9 a.m.: criminal damaging. Jessica Suthers, 34, 109 W. South St., reported a window frame at her residence was damaged.

-9 a.m.: criminal damaging. Tammy Neumier, 44, 882 Merri Lane, reported a door was forced open causing damage to the door frame at 1510 Spruce Ave., Apt. 2, which is owned by Robert Freund, 3300 Tawny Leaf Court.

-7 a.m.: theft. Melvin Martin, 45, 805 N. Ohio Ave., reported the theft of a green and yellow Mongoose bike from his residence.

WEDNESDAY

-9:27 p.m.: driving while under the influence. Phillip McCluskey, 19, 132 Pike St., was arrested for driving a vehicle while under the influence in the 300 block of North Main Avenue.

JULY 1

-5 p.m.: theft. Robbie Roe, 65, 18498 Johnston Road, reported keys had been stolen.

JUNE 29

-2:27 p.m.: theft. Area Energy & Electric reported the theft of 946 pounds of copper wire from its property at 2001 Commerce Drive.

Crashes

• Stacey Donaldson, 51, 710 Miami Ave., was cited for failure to control and transported by Sidney Emergency Medical Services following a crash at 5:49 p.m., Thursday. Donaldson was travelling southbound on St. Marys Road when she lost control and hit a utility pole near Commerce Drive.

• Billy Fisher, 84, 735 N. Ohio Ave., was cited for failure to control and transported by the Sidney Fire Department following a crash at 12:15 p.m., Monday. Fisher was travelling westbound in the 300 block of East North Street when he drifted into traffic headed eastbound and side-swiped another vehicle.

The other vehicle was driven by Stacy Snow, 47, 1135 Morris Ave.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-10:22 a.m.: mutual aid. Medics responded Port Jefferson for a mutual aid call concerning a car crash.

-5:50 p.m.: crash. Rescue workers and medics responded to a car crash.

-8:06 p.m.: false call. Medics responded to call but found no incident when they arrived.

-1:53 to 11:03 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to eight calls.

FRIDAY

-3:11 a.m. to 4:20 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to two calls.
