ANNA — The Anna Community Garage Sales are scheduled for Sept. 29 and Sept. 30.

Participants are asked to contribute $5 each by Sept. 21 to cover advertising costs in local and out-of-town newspapers. To contribute, participants should put $5 into an envelope with the address of sale and a list of items to be sold and deposit the envelopes in the night box at the village hall.

The addresses and list of items will then be placed on a printout of the entire list of sales in the surrounding area. The listings will be available for $1 at Anna Market and Village Salon & Spa, beginning Sept. 27.
