ANNA — Anna Local Schools will celebrate their 2017 homecoming festivities, Sept. 22 and 23.
The activities, coordinated by the class of 2018, will kick off with the crowning of the king and queen, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. at the Anna football stadium while Anna plays Delphos St. Johns.
The dance will be Sept. 23, from 8 to 11 p.m., in the Anna High School auxillary gym.
Admission will be $5 per person and tickets are available at door. The theme this year is “Far Away,” with colors of silver and gold. Music will be provided by the Craig Machine.
Queen candidates are Carly Becker, daughter of Jason and Amy Becker; Lexi Belcher, daughter of Amy Belcher; Emma Freytag, daughter of Kurt and Troyann Freytag; Abby Gaydosh, daughter of Dave and Tricia Gaydosh; Rachel Shoemaker, daughter of Bill and Sherry Shoemaker; and Paige Wiktorowski, daughter of Don Wiktorowski and Denise Wiktorowski.
King candidates are Cole Albers, son of Ron and Chris Albers; Wyatt Bensman, son of Dale and Heather Bensman; Austin Fogt, son of Doug Fogt and Victoria Linkmeyer; Travis Meyer, son of Phil and Lisa Meyer; Dallas Poeppelman, son of Ted and Michelle Poeppelman; and Noah Rioch, son of Bryan and Julie Rioch.
