Baumer wins Good Neighbor Day drawing

BOTKINS — National Good Neighbor Day was Sept. 28, and businesses in the village of Botkins celebrated with a give-a-way contest.

Local businesses were asked to participate by donating items of their choice to the prize package. Nineteen of 51 businesses participated.

Residents were able to register to win the prize package at various businesses in the village. Social media live interviews were conducted of donor businesses. On Sept. 28, a sip and chat event Rita Baumer’s name was drawn as the winner. Baumer lives in Wapakoneta.

Prize donors were Amos Library, Ask Amy Home Furnishings, Beem Construction, Boomerang Rubber, Botkins Electric, Plumbing & Hardware, Care-A-Lot Preschool, Country Lane, Finishing Touches, Flowers & More, First National Bank, Hairitage House Salon, Harrod Memorial, Hubbard Feeds, J & L Manufacturing Inc., Jenny’s Designs, Koenig Equipment, Palazzo, Trojan’s Den, U.S. Bank, Upper Cervical Dr. Anthony Monnin.
