ASHLAND — Sarah Koenig, of New Bremen, is a member of the Student Dietetic Association at Ashland University.

Koenig, a 2015 graduate of New Bremen Local School, studies dietetics.

The Student Dietetic Association (SDA) is open to students in dietetic majors and anyone else interested in nutrition. The group focuses on educating the Ashland University campus, as well as the local community, through events including National Nutrition Month, which is celebrated every March. Ashland University’s SDA has won numerous awards from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
