HOUSTON — The Houston Community Association’s monthly meeting was held Jan. 3.

The next pizza Friday night is Jan. 5.

The annual dinner meeting is Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. The Association will provide a meat and cheese tray, buns, bread, coffee, water and other beverages. This dinner meeting is open to everyone in the community or anyone interested in finding out what the Association actually does. Please bring a covered dish to share with everyone and your own table service. Yearly memberships can be paid at this meeting or mailed to the Association. You must keep memberships current in order to rent the building at the member rate. We will also be electing up to three new trustees to serve three-year terms. There will also be a few door prizes donated by local businesses to give out.

The next fundraiser will be the annual homemade chicken or beef noodle dinner on Sunday, March 11, at 10:30 a.m. More details to follow.

There are still a few bid packets available if you or someone you know might be interested in providing services for the association. They are custodial, rental agent, lawn maintenance and snow removal. Contact Patty Cotterman, 937-726-2869, or Phil Cozad, 937-295-5229, to obtain a packet. They need to be turned in by March 7 before 8 p.m.
