SIDNEY — The Sidney-Shelby County Health Department has announced that the first day it will administer flu vaccinations will be Oct. 3.

A clinic will be open from 9 to 11 a.m. and 12:30 to 5 p.m. at the department, 202 W. Poplar St. After this clinic, all flu vaccines given at the Health Department will be by appointment.

Countywide clinics will be in October as follows:

Oct. 3 at Anna Elementary School, 3:30-6 p.m.

Oct. 5 at Fort Loramie Elementary School, 3:30-6 p.m.

Oct. 12 at Hardin-Houston Local School, 3-6 p.m.

The deparment now bills most insurances. Insurance cards must be presented at time of visit. If people are not covered by insurance, the following fees apply:

$25 children 18 and younger; $35 adults 19 and older; $45 senior high dose 65 and older.
