NEW BREMEN — A pageant to select the 2016 Bremenfest queen will be Aug. 14, at 6 p.m., in the James F. Dicke Auditiorium in New Bremen High School.
The pageant is open to the public. Tickets cost $5 and will be available at the door.
There are 10 contestants vying for the title. The winner will be crowned during festival opening ceremonies, Aug. 19, at 6:30 p.m.
Competing are the following young women: Alexa Paulus, 17, daughter of Teresa and Michael Paulus, sponsored by Minster Bank; Bailey Bronkema, 17, daughter of Teresa and Greg Bronkema, sponsored by Signature 4; Logan Wells, 17, daughter of Julie and Jeff Wells, sponsored by New Bremen/New Knoxville Rotary Club; Jordan Sailer, 17, daughter of Jenny and John Sailer, sponsored by Green Thumb Farmer’s Market; Hanna James, 17, daughter of Tami and Chad James, sponsored by Cottage Cafe.
Also, Chloe Schwartz, 17, daughter of Joan and Mark Schwartz, sponsored by the Hair House; Sarah Condon, 17, daughter of LaRita and Dan Condon, sponsored by Miller Insurance; Brianna Arling, 17, daughter of Chyna and Mike Arling; Baily Duke, 17, daughter of Jackie Musser, sponsored by Hair by Olivia-Style Salon; Kathyrn Niekamp, 16, daughter of Mandy and Nate Niekamp, sponsored by Jackson’s Garage.
