SCARF seeks shelter supplies

SIDNEY — The Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation (SCARF) will host its fourth annual Operation Shelter Supplies, Saturday, at the Shelby County Animal Shelter, 1100 Clem Road.

The event provides an opportunity for area residents to donate supplies needed by the shelter to care for animals there. Donors can drop off the items between 9 and 11 a.m. The SCARF mascot, Scarfie, will be there to greet children. Free doughnuts will be available. And pet adoptions can be arranged during the event.

Items of particular need are bleach, paper towels, Mr. Clean, hand sanitizer, 39-gallon heavy-duty trash bags, dog collars of all sizes, cat collars, cat toys, tennis balls, and Pet Value, Kroger and Amazon gift cards.
