SIDNEY — Kaitlyn Smith, 15, daughter of Crystal and Kenneth Smith, of Sidney, has been selected to attend the 2017 Congress of Future Medical Leaders in June in Boston.

The congress is hosted by the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Students in academic partnership with Washington Adventist University.

Kaitlyn was selected for outstanding grades, leadership potential and determination to serve humanity in the field of medicine.

Congress speakers will include Nobel Prize-winners and university professors of medicine.
