WAYNESFIELD — The Auglaize County Historical Society will present “The Songs of World War I,” Thursday, May 18, at 5 p.m., in the White Memorial Library, Waynesfield.

The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees are invited to enjoy a musical stroll down memory lane, revisiting the songs that brought comfort, cheer and a few tears to those at home and on the battlefront. Beth Keuneke, adult services coordinator at the St. Marys Library, will be the presenter.

Auglaize County Historical Society Administrator Rachel Barber said, “Beth has done a great job researching the music of this era. We know that everyone will enjoy the opportunity to listen again to some wonderful music and perhaps even sing along to many familiar songs.”
