FLETCHER — Jody and Doug Cron, of Fletcher, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, June 10, 2017.
Doug and the former Jody Foster were married, June 10, 1967, in the Fletcher United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dana Heaton performed the ceremony. Witnesses were Diane Campbell Boner and Bonnie Cron Maxson, sister of the bridegroom, Dale Wilgus, John Yingst and Bruce Cron and John Vetter, cousins of the bridegroom.
Doug is the son of the late Wanda and Clarence Cron. Jody is the daughter of the late Martin T. Foster and Betty L. Carr.
The Crons have two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Cron, of Piqua, and Joe and Tammy Cron, of Fletcher. They have two grandchildren.
Doug is a lifelong farmer and a Brown Township trustee. Jody retired from Miami East Schools after 25 years as a school cook.
The couple attend the Fletcher United Methodist Church and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, family and friends.
