SIDNEY — The IUTIS annual ice cream social will be July 13, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., in Harmon Park, 870 St. Marys Ave.

The rain date is July 14.

The event is the sole fundraiser that supports the IUTIS softball program. Proceeds from the social are used to purchase shirts and hats, which are made available to players at no charge.

During the social, three championship games will be played. Ice cream, cake and food will be sold.

Players have tickets for sale. The boy who sells the most tickets will win a bicycle. Other sellers can select smaller prizes.
