SCARF elects new president


SIDNEY — Deb Hovestreydt, vice president of Kirk National Lease and owner of Paws & Claws Retreat in Sidney, was elected president of the Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation.

During the July 19 meeting, SCARF re-elected Julie Ehemann as vice president, Nicole Laber as treasurer and Karen Wise as secretary. Eric Barr, who served as president for five years, since the organization’s founding, will remain on the board of trustees.
