SIDNEY — Shelby County United Way Executive Director Scott Barr presented a Gold Award to Eileen Wiseman, director of the Senior Center of Sidney-Shelby County during the monthly membership meeting of the latter group, April 10.

The award commemorated the Senior Center’s support of the United Way campaign.

The meeting was led by Senior Center Vice President Steve Schroeder. Georgina Dressman, Dick Eshleman, Steve Wiford and Glen York were introduced as candidates for the center’s board of trustees.

Wiseman reminded members that they can support the center by using a Kroger Plus card at the grocery.

It was announced that there will be a card party, open to the public, April 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the center and a bid euchre fundraiser, including a soup and sandwich dinner and card games, beginning at 6 p.m., May 8.

Aunalee Moore won the milestone raffel.

Attendees enjoyed a lunch provided by Ohio Living Dorothy Love.
