SIDNEY — Ohio Living Dorothy Love will host an event for the general public in the Amos Community Center, Sept. 16, from noon to 3 p.m. celebrating its 95th anniversary.
Guests will be encouraged to take a walk through the Tunnel of Time to learn about Ohio Living Dorothy Love’s story and the history of this life plan community. They will be able to see the toys of each decade, as well as other items from the past 95 years. Each decade will be represented in a display that will educate, surprise and perhaps bring back some great memories.
“What began as a gift in honor and memory of a little girl named Dorothy Love in 1922 has flourished and grown into what is now one of the nation’s largest multi-site senior living organizations. We hope that many people join us for some delicious refreshments and a fun-filled afternoon with neighbors and friends,” said Ohio Living Dorothy Love Executive Director Tricia Atwood.
