Baird, Breinich join SCARF board

SIDNEY — Bob Baird, retired from Emerson Climate Technologies Inc., and Benji Breinich, real estate agent for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, have joined the board of the Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation.

Baird is a past board member of numerous organizations including the Sidney City Schools, New Choices and Upper Valley Career Center. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University and Xavier University and was elected to his high school’s Gallery of Achievement.

Breinich serves as a fitness instructor at the YMCA in his spare time and is a graduate of the Ohio State University.

SCARF also works to mentor young leaders, and the board members voted to add three junior board members. They include Laura Conley, a sophomore at Anna High School, Ashleigh Jurosic, a junior at Anna High School, and Nathan Johnson, a sophomore at Sidney High School.
