Adult reading program opens at library

SIDNEY — The 12th annual adult winter reading program for adults has begun this week and will go through Feb 28 at all branches of the Shelby County Library.

The program is for adults 18 and older who register at one of the library branches to get a punch card. The card is punched as each book is read. The books don’t have to be borrowed from the library.

The theme is “Adventure Awaits at Your Library.” Each participant who reads or listens to five audio books by Feb. 28 will receive a custom etched, plated brass bookmark of the all-new Amos Library. Participants’ names will then be entered into a drawing for a $300 adventure at the Ohio State Park of the winner’s choice

Readers can participate at any Shelby County Libraries location, including Anna, Botkins, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Russia and Sidney. For information, call 492-8354.
