Minster in D-IV finals
ELIDA - Minster moved within one game of a state tournament berth with a 46-35 victory over Pandora Gilboa in the Division IV Regional Girls Basketball Tournament at Elida Thursday.

The win, the Lady Wildcats' 11th in a row, matches them against Mt. Blanchard Riverdale Saturday night at 7:30 in the regional championship game. Minster takes a 17-7 record into that contest.

The Lady Wildcats controlled the middle two quarters to come away with the victory.

The two teams were deadlocked at 10-10 after one period, but Minster led by four at the half, 20-16, then outscored Pandora 16-8 in the third quarter to make it 36-24.






Delanie Wolf poured in 18 points to lead the Lady Wildcats, hitting eight of her 13 shots from the field. Tara Clune also shot well, hitting 6-for-8 and finished with 12 points.

For the game, Minster was 17-for-35 for 49 percent and hit 9-for-13 from the free throw line.

Clune and Sarah Huelsman both pulled down seven rebounds.

Minster's defense limited Pandora to just 12-for-45 from the floor, 27 percent.
