Sidney Recreation Board

SIDNEY —The Sidney Recreation Board will meet Monday, April 2, at 4:15 p.m., in council chambers in the Municipal Building.

The board will discuss the following items:

• Rotary/Kiwanis Inclusive play area;

• 2018 Recreation Board photo contest;

• Winter Ash tree removal summary;

• King bridge rehabilitation and relocation public meeting.

Sidney City Schools Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Schools Board of Education will meet Monday, April 2, at 6 p.m. at the board of education office.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will will hold a workshop session meeting on Monday, April 2, at 6:30 p.m in the Municipal Building’s Council Chambers.

The will be a presentation on the following topics:

• World Autism Month proclamation

• Community Development Week proclamation

• Arbor Day proclamation

• Urban Forestry update

• Consumer confidence report

There will be discussions about annual liquor permit renewals and on the land bank policy.

Council will review the agenda for its retreat scheduled for April 9, 2018, at 8:45 a.m., the upcoming Zoning Board/Planning Commission Agenda for Monday, March 19, 2018, and the prospective City Council Agenda items for the next 30 days.

In addition, council will also hold an executive session to discuss the discipline of a public employee, pending or imminent court action and to consider the purchase of property for public purposes.

Civil Service Commission

SIDNEY — The Civil Service Commission will meet on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, beginning at 2 p.m. in the first floor conference room of the Municipal Building located at 201 W. Poplar St. in downtown Sidney. The commission will be meeting for training.

Minster Schools Board of Education

MINSTER — The Minster Local Schools Board of Education will hold a special meeting Tuesday, April 3, at 7 p.m. in the elementary school’s teacher lounge. Items on the agenda include reviewing bids, reviewing alternate bids and strategic planning.
