Genoa has been making the blankets for about a year with help from residents to meet her goal of 28 blankets, which she will donate to the Dayton Children’s Hospital to complete her Girl Scout Silver Award project. Genoa is a member of Girl Scout Troop 627. The award will be presented in May.
