SAINT MARYS — Join Lori and Mandy Naseelah and all of Troupe Zephyr for the 5th annual Schoolhouse Raqs! This is a day of workshops for those wishing to learn and further the art of belly dance; shopping with great vendors offering everything from imports to bath and body care items; a kick was show featuring semi pro and professional belly dancers from the local area and afar.

The event will be held on April 2, 2016, at Noble Township Hall (Noble School), St. Mary’s River Road, St Marys, Ohio.

Dancers from as far away as Virginia, Michigan and Kentucky will be there.

Lori and Mandy Naseelah had a vision to bring their love and appreciation of belly dance music and culture to all. Since they began Troupe Zephyr in 2009, they have made constant strides in the realization of this goal. The duo teach classes in Lima, New Bremen, Portland, Indiana as well as travel to teach various workshops, etc. They sponsor two local events each year, Schoolhouse Raqs and Gypsy Mystique, each year. These two events have grown each and every year to become premiere regional events in the belly dance community.
