Fairlawn Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Fairlawn Local School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting Monday, March 14, at 3:45 p.m. in the conference room at the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center, 129 E. Court St., Sidney. The board will go into executive session to consider the appointment, employment or compensation of an employee.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — Sidney City Council will meet Monday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. Council will hear the introduction of an ordinance assessing the cost of weed cutting or removal or litter or junk. Resolutions on the agenda deal with the Ohio lodging tax distribution policy, the establishment of a Community Service Program Fund and to advertise for bids for the land applications of biosolids.

Council will also disucss renaming the A-diamond a Custenborder Fields as “Veterans Memorial Field,” the municipal pool rates for 2016 and the Ohio Community Police Relations Grant. Council will hold an executive session to discuss negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees, consider the purchase of property for public purposes and pending or imminent court action.

Anna Board of Education

ANNA — The Anna Local School Board of Education will meet Monday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. in Middle School Room 209. The board will hear reports from various school officials and approve the previous month’s meeting minutes and financial report.

The superintendent will discuss the building renovation levy, a date for a special board meeting, and a board policy update, as long as board reports. In new business the board will discuss a recommendation to adopt policy manual updates and a resolution approving settlement agreement with Reiter Dairy.

Jackson Center Village Council

JACKSON CENTER — Jackson Center Village Council will meet Monday, March 14, at 7 p.m. in council chambers.

Council will consider ordinances authorizing adjustments in the 2016 appropriations of public funds for the village and entering into a contract with Engineering Solutions for the ODOT Main Street project. Reports will be given by committee chairman, village administrator and the police department. An executive session will be held to consider discipline of a public employee.

Fort Loramie Village Council

FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Village Council will meet in regular session, Monday, March 14, at 8 p.m.

The council will give final reading to an appropriation ordinance and consider property annexation, generator issues, Kubota engine repairs, a batting cage in Youth Park, the website, and participation in www.ohiocheckbook.com.

It will hear updates on the Main Street and Redskin Memorial Park projects and electric and natural gas aggregation.

Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services

TROY — The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will meet Wednesday, March 16, at 6:45 p.m. in the Marianne Helmlinger Board Room, 1100 Wayne St., Suite 4000, Troy. During the meeting the board plans to enter into executive session to discuss purchase of properties.

New Bremen Board of Education

NEW BREMEN — The New Bremen Local Schools Board of Education will meet Wednesday, March 16, at 7 p.m., in the Community Room, for a public hearing and its regular meeting.

During the hearing, the board will hear comments on the use of federal special education funds. During the regular meeting, the board will consider a settlement agreement with Reinhard Dairy, the employment of lawn care workers, acceptance of CY-2016 tax rates and amounts and welder purchases.

Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health

SIDNEY — The Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. in the Health Department conference room, 202 W. Poplar St.

The board will consider a private water system variance request by Barrett Paving Materials Inc. and a condemnation order.
