NEW BREMEN – The eighth annual Artisan Showcase in New Bremen will take place Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The showcase will highlight artisans who create art such as jewelry, paintings, wood carvings, reclaimed furniture and more. The Artisan Showcase is an event highlighted at the annual New Bremen Pumpkinfest.

The Artisan Showcase is looking for interested artists. Spaces are limited, and those interested are asked to contact the Artisan Showcase as soon as possible to fill out an application and reserve a booth. Booths are $70 for a 10 x 10 space before May 1 and $80 after May 1. The deadline for applications is Aug. 1.

The New Bremen Pumpkinfest is known nation-wide. In 2010, organizers baked a 20-foot diameter pumpkin pie that is featured in the Guinness Book of World Records. Additionally, in 2011 the Weather Channel filmed the event and aired it on national television.
