NEW KNOXVILLE – The Way International – a Biblical research, teaching and fellowship ministry – celebrated its 78th anniversary on Sunday.

At The Way International Headquarters, located in New Knoxville, the board of directors, senior officers, staff and in-residence Way Corps of The Way International gathered for the teaching service in the Victor Paul Wierwille Prevailing Word Auditorium. For all other guests, who could not attend in person due to COVID-19 restrictions, a livestream of the service was available worldwide.

The president of The Way International, Rev. Vern Edwards, presented a teaching on the theme for the new ministry year – “Shining as Lights in the World.” This theme was taught, illustrated and emphasized throughout the service.

“The source of all light is God,” Edwards said. “So to be able to shine as lights, we must tap into the originator of light.”
