PIQUA — The Piqua Arts Council has released a call for artists to submit works for the 2015 Piqua Fine Art Exhibit.

Artists can submit up to three works of art. Awards will be made in six categories: drawing, oil and acrylic paintings, watercolor paintings, photography, three-dimensional works and miscellaneous.

The submission deadline is Aug. 21; however, Piqua Arts Council Executive Director Jordan Knepper said that, because just 160 works will be accepted, the show will be full well before the deadline.

The show will run from Sept. 11 to Oct. 2 in the Apple Tree Gallery in downtown Piqua. More than $3,000 in prize money will be awarded.
