SIDNEY — The Shelby County Liberty Group will host a town hall meeting, “Be Prepared, Not Scared: Active Shooter Response,” April 21, at 7 p.m., in the Calvary Baptist Church, 9480 county Road 25A N.

Mike McRill, community resource officer in the Sidney Police Department, and Marty Grove, Piqua Police Department deputy chief, will present a Power Point program developed from the Houston, Texas, program, “Run, Hide, Fight.”

They will also discuss how to respond as a concealed carry weapon permit-holder and how to respond when law enforcement arrives on the scene.

The training session is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to take a canned good for the church food pantry.
