SIDNEY — The Michigan Street bridge over Starrett Run will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 28, though Friday, Nov. 25.

Brumbaugh Construction will be removing the existing bridge structure and replacing it with an 84-inch concrete pipe with underground structures on each end to eliminate the open basins. In addition to the bridge replacement, utilities will be relocated and roadway, curb, gutter and sidewalks will be replaced.

There will be no pedestrian access to the area. There will be no local, through or business traffic access nor emergency vehicle access.
