Fairlawn Fall Festival set for Oct. 28

SIDNEY — The annual Fairlawn Fall Festival will be held Friday, Oct, 28, at Fairlawn School, located at 18800 Johnston Road, Sidney.The festival will feature games, food, and prizes.

The Harvest Cafe will be open from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and will be serving homemade soups, sandwiches, pies and more. Festival games will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Games include the Bake Walk, Plinko, Ring-a-Pop, Dice Roll, Fish Pond, a bounce house, and many more. For those seeking out a frightful scream or two, a Haunted House will be onsite.

New this year at the festival will be both a costume contest and a dance for those wishing to participate. Many of the games and events are sponsored by several club organizations within Fairlawn as their organization’s fundraiser. An annual raffle held the night of the festival allows ticket purchasers a chance to win more tha 100 items, some of which are: fine jewelry, gas grill, Reds Tickets, Garmin watch, Bluetooth speakers, tools, numerous gift cards, and many other amazing gift baskets and miscellaneous items. Raffle tickets are available for sale now through the evening of the festival for $1 each, and can be purchased at the festival or by contacting the school.

The annual fall festival is an event sponsored by the Fairlawn Local Boosters and helps to provide funding for many things needed for grades Pre-K through 12th grade, as needs arise.

All community members and their families are invited to attend the family-oriented fall event.
