WEDNESDAY

-5:38 p.m.: purpose to commit theft. Scherer Martial Arts Association on East North Street reported a breaking and entering and damage to the front door’s dead bolt, three of the door hinges and the theft of $300.

-9:38 a.m.: violate protection order. Michael Brownlow, 29, 430 S. Main Ave., was arrested for violate protection order.

-7:04 a.m.: criminal damaging. Matthew Fahnestock, 34, 206 N. Pomeroy Ave., reported the passenger side mirror of his vehicle was damaged.

Crashes

Christy Hughes, 38, 751 Foraker Ave., was cited for starting and backing after a collision on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.

Hughes was backing out of her driveway when she crossed the alley and struck another legally parked vehicle in its driveway.

The owner of the other vehicle is Alexander Hunsucker, 761 Foraker Ave.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-6:58 a.m.: assist. Crews responded to assist Lockington Fire on a possible river rescue on the report of a submerged vehicle. No submerged vehicle was found anywhere in or along the riverbank.

-12:28 a.m. to 12:44 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to four calls.

WEDNESDAY

-5:14 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to mile-marker 86 on Interstate 75 on the report of a vehicle fire. No fire was found upon arrival. The vehicle had a blown engine.

-4:55 to 10:57 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.
