Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will meet Monday, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers in the Municipal Building. They will hear a presentation on the Certified Municipal Clerk designation.

It is expected for council to adopt an ordinance for special assessments for the construction and replacement of certain curbs and gutters. Council will also be introduced to three ordinances to amend sections of codified water, sewer, stormwater and solid waste collection rates; an ordinance assessing the cost of repair of a dangerous building; and for supplemental appropriations for 2016 and declaring an emergency.

Council is also expected to adopt two resolutions for the authorization of the city manager to enter into a purchase option regarding approximately 14.453 acres of land, and for the acceptance of a conveyance of real property from ETT Investments and dedicating the use as park lands.

There will be a continued discussion on the 2017 budget.

In addition, council will also hold an executive session to preparation for negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees.

Jackson Center Village Council

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Village Council will meet on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at 7 p.m. in council chambers.

The council will hear from Jackson Center Local Schools Superintendent Bill Reichert, as well as from the various committees and other village officials. They will also read several ordinances for the first and second time.

Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health

SIDNEY — The Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health will meet in regular session, Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m., in the Health Department conference room.

The board will consider financial reports and bloodborne pathogens before moving into executive session.

Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services

The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will meet Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m. in the Marianne Helmlinger Board Room, 1100 Wayne St., Suite 4000, Troy. The Finance Committee will meet at 5:30. The earlier start times are to accommodate mandatory board member training on Recovery Oriented Systems of Care. Guests are welcome to observe the training.
