Miami Conservancy District Records Commission

DAYTON — The Miami Conservancy District Records Commission will meet on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at 10 a.m. The meeting will take place at The Miami Conservancy District located at 38 E. Monument Ave., Dayton.

Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals

SIDNEY —The Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Monday, Nov. 21, at 4 p.m. in council chambers.

The board will consider the request of Choice One Engineering for a variance to allow a lot width that is less than the minimum allowed as part of a replat at 416 N. Wagner Ave. in a single family residential district. They will also consider the request of Houston Owens, on behalf of Sidney Tool Rental, for a conditional use permit for outdoor storage at 1135 Wapakoneta Ave. in the community business district.

Sidney Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Schools Board of Education will meet on Monday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m. in the Board of Education Office. The board will hold a discussion on the levy, as well as district improvement projects. Superintendent John Scheu will give a presentation on American Education Week.

They will go over the treasurer’s report, including the transfer of funds, and the approval of reports and invoices. And the superintendent’s report, including a retirement, the hiring of substitutes, and supplemental employees. The board will adopt new and revised policies, and Robert Smith will go over a legislative report.

The meeting will also include an executive session for the purpose of considering the evaluation of an official of the school district.

Sidney City Planning Commission

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Planning Commission will meet on Monday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers.

The board will consider the request of Choice One Engineering, on behalf of Wannemacher Construction, for the replat of three lots to create two news lot at 416 N. Wagner Ave., in a single family residential district.

Also, the board is expected to re-appoint Amy Klingler to the Shelby County Regional Planning Commission.

Hardin-Houston Board of Education

HOUSTON — The Hardin-Houston Board of Education will meet on Monday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. in the media center. The board will approve monthly financial reports and expenditures for October 2016 and address personnel issues.

Jackson Center Board of Education

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Board of Education will meet on Monday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. The board will consider the purchase of a new school bus in the amount of $95,000. In addition, they will accept a donation and hear reports from the treasurer, maintenance, bus, custodial, elementary, and high school.

The board will have an executive session to discuss the employment of public employees, and hire several coaches. The superintendent will also update the board on the video project.

Minster Board of Education

MINSTER — The Minster Board of Education will meet on Monday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. in the elementary school large group meeting room.

The board will accept donations, and recognize students. They will go over reports from various officials and committees, as well as the treasurer. They will consider the purchase of an 84 passenger handicapped bus. They will also be updated on the Ohio School Facilities. They will vote to approve several employees, and hold an executive session for the purpose of employment and compensation of a public employee.
