THURSDAY

-1:56 a.m.: domestic violence. Police arrested Charles Smith, 41, 621 St. Marys Road, for domestic violence.

-12:59 a.m.: theft. An employee of Walmart reported the theft of two bottles of alcohol.

WEDNESDAY

-5:33 p.m.: found property. Two gas weed eaters were located in a yard on Michigan Street and were turned into the police for safe keeping.

Crashes

No one was cited after a crash on Wednesday at 3:59 p.m. Due to conflicting stories.

Kevin Buediss, 53, 218 Brooklyn Ave., was traveling east bound in the 100 block of East Court Street and Malav Oza, 29, of Troy, was attempting to parallel park on the south side of the road. The vehicles crashed into each other. Buediss stated he had stopped and Oza struck him, and Oza stated he thought Buediss had struck him as he was backing up.

• Gerald Romaker, 66, 1574 Cumberland Ave., was cited for assured clear distance ahead after a crash on Wednesday at 12:55 p.m.

Romaker was traveling westbound on East North Street at North Main Avenue when he struck the rear of another vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle was Amber Yingst, 31, 441 Riverside Drive. She was transported by Sidney EMS with possible injuries.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-5:50 a.m.: Crews responded to a carbon monoxide investigation.

-5:41 a.m.: Crews responded to 1200 W. Russell Road on an unknown spill from a vehicle.

-2:21 to 5:31 a.m.: Medics responded to four calls.

WEDNESDAY

-3:15 to 8:51 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.
