Warming Center Director Terry Sharp, of Sidney, sets up cots for people who need a warm place to sleep at the Alpha Center Wednesday, Jan. 4. Food and a movie were made available. Because of the predicted cold overnight temperatures, the warming center will be open each evening through Sunday at 6:30 p.m. for local residents who need a warm place to stay overnight.
