COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger. R-Clarksville, has announced that State Representative Keith Faber, R-Celina, 84th District, has been appointed to serve on four Ohio House committees.

Earlier this month, Faber was appointed to the House Finance Committee, which is responsible for vetting and deliberating the two-year state operating budget. Within that committee, he will chair the Finance Subcommittee on State Government and Agency Review.

This week’s announcement indicated that he will also be serving on the following committees:

• Agriculture and Rural Development

• Government Accountability and Oversight

• Public Utilities

“I am looking forward to working with my colleagues to ensure the tax dollars of Ohioans are being spent responsibly and government is working effectively,” Faber said. “These committees all hold a place of importance to my district and I am anxious to get to work.”

Faber represents the 84th District, which encompasses Mercer County, as well as portions of Auglaize, Darke and Shelby counties. He most recently served two terms as the 94th President of the Senate and previously served three terms in the Ohio House of Representatives.
