Anna Board of Education
ANNA — The Anna Local Schools Board of Education will meet in regular session, Monday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m., in Middle School Room 209.
The board will consider recommendations to approve employee contracts and to accept the resignation of the high school secretary and a resolution concerning renovation project contracts. The board will then move into executive session to discuss employment of public employees.
Sidney City Council
SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will meet Monday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers in the Municipal Building.
Mayor Mike Barhorst will present a proclamation for Nation Telecommunication Technician Week and for Altrusa International Day.
Fire Chief Brad Jones will present the 2016 Firefighter of the Year award to Jordan Grogean.
Council is also expected to adopt an ordinance for adoption of a new purchasing card policy. Council will also be introduced an ordinance for an amendment regarding Waterwaste Treatment Plant surcharge rates for excessive loads.
Council is also expected to adopt two resolutions for authorization for the city manager to enter into a 2017 Community Housing Impact and Preservation Program Partnership agreement with Shelby County; and to limit chapters of an ordinance regarding the conduct of the 1st Tennessee Infantry during their spring drill at Brookside Park on April 22 and 23.
Fort Loramie Council
FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Village Council will meet in regular session, Monday, April 10, at 8 p.m. in the council chambers.
The council will give second reading to a flood damage-reduction ordinance and consider Main Street project pay requests and traffic light bids.
There will be updates on the Main Street and Redskin Memorial park projects and WTP. The council will move into executive session to discuss personnel.
Loramie Township Trustees
RUSSIA — The Loramie Township Trustees will meet in regular session, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Russia Fire House.
Fairlawn Board of Education
SIDNEY — The Fairlawn Local School District Board of Education will meet Wednesday, April 12, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 122. The meeting is being held one day earlier than normal.
Items on the agenda include approving a Disney trip for the choir and band in May 2018; employment; service contracts; and resignations. An executive session is planned before taking any action on the personnel items.
Botkins Board of Education
BOTKINS — The Botkins Local Schools Board of Education will meet in regular session, Wednesday, April 12, at 7 p.m., in the media center.
The board will approve graduates, consider various handbooks and a five-year depository agreement and hire summer help.
