SIDNEY — The annual Shelby County Health Fair, in conjunction with the YMCA’s annual Healthy Kids Day, will be held Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA, 300 E. Parkwood, Sidney. Co-sponsoring the event again this year is Wilson Health, Ohio Living Dorothy Love, City of Sidney, Senior Center of Sidney-Shelby County and the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA.

The purpose of the health fair is to provide the community with the resources to maintain good health through various screenings and provide education on health related issues and services for the whole family. Screenings being offered this year include fasting lipid profile and glucose tests, mental health screenings, posture analyses, gait and balance assessments, foot screenings, ear checks and hearing screenings, blood pressure checks, medication reviews and more. A massage therapist will also be on hand providing chair massages. In addition to health screenings and live demonstrations, the event offers attendees an opportunity to learn about local businesses and the products and services they offer.

With TAM FM broadcasting live, nearly 40 participating vendors and Healthy Kids Day festivities to enjoy this will be an enjoyable and educational event for all ages.

For more information about the Health Fair visit the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA or contact the YMCA at 937-492-9134.
