Vendors ready for health fair

SIDNEY — More than 40 vendors will be participating in the annual Shelby County Health Fair on Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA, 300 E. Parkwood, Sidney.

Vendors who have signed up for the event include Ashley Himes of State Farm Insurance; Beltone Audiology & Hearing Care Center, who will do video otoscope ear wax checks; Bunny’s Pharmacy; Catholic Social Services; city of Sidney Police, Fire, Transit and Parks; Edward Jones; Foot & Ankle Centers of Ohio, who will do foot screenings; GIVE Medical Ministry; Green Hills Community; Jeff Van Treese, DDS; Life Connection of Ohio; Massage Therapy by Amy, who will do chair massages; Miracle-Ear Hearing Center, who will do hearing screenings; NAMI of Darke, Miami and Shelby counties; and New Vision Nursing & Home Care, who will do blood pressure checks, hand massage therapy and observed gait and balance assessment.

Also, Ohio Living Dorothy Love; Resolute Certified Navigators; SafeHaven Inc.; Salm-McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home; Samaritan Works; Senior Center of Sidney-Shelby County; SeniorMark; Shelby County Children Services/Adult Protective Services; Sidney Care Center; Sidney Chiropractic Inc., who will do posture screens; Sidney-Shelby County YMCA, who will do BMI screenings; Tri-County Board of Recovery & Mental Health Services, who will do mental health screenings; Visual Tech Connection, who will showing a live demo of a video magnifier; Western and Southern Financial Group, who will provide vital of life kits; Wilson Health, who will have fasting lipid profile and gluclose testing ($10); and Women’s Center Sidney-Elizabeth’s New Life Center.
