Around 30 Honda volunteers came out to Tawawa Park to help out for Earth Day. This volunteer project is part of the Anna Engine Plant’s Earth Day celebration activities.The team painted four shelter houses and 24 picnic tables. Honda has had past involvement in supporting the park. In 2011, Honda provided a grant for $35,000 to the city of Sidney for new playground equipment and a group of Honda Young Professionals from the Anna Engine Plant helped to install that playground equipment at the park.
